What we keep
When you look up a price, we may keep:
- the address you look up, including addresses you look up but don't go on to book;
- the answers you give about your lawn, and the estimate shown to you;
- the date and time of the lookup.
We don't ask for your name, phone number or email to show you an estimate.
If you ask us to book, we also keep your name, mobile number, email (if you give it), business name (for agents and builders), and what you tell us about getting in: gate code, dogs, parking and notes. We use these to confirm your price, arrange the visit, do the work and send your invoice. Invoices and payment records are kept for five years, as the tax office requires.
Lawn care history
Once we've finished a visit at an address, that address's page on our site (for example cuts4.cash/12-example-street-melton) shows the lawn care we've done there: the day of each finished visit, who did it, roughly how long it took, what was done, the conditions we found (for example "damp grass" or "windy"), and any note we choose to add. It never shows who lives there or how to contact them, prices, gate or access details, pets, photos, or when we're next coming. Search engines are asked not to list these pages. If you live at an address and would rather it had no public history, tell us and we'll hide it.
Customers also get their own page at a private link, with their bookings, visits, invoices and any photos we've shared with them. Anyone with that link can see it, so keep it to yourself.
Photos we take on a job belong to Cuts4Cash. We only show them to the customer who booked that job, and only the ones we choose to share. They are never public.
Why
We use this to work out your estimate, to look up the address so we can confirm a price, and to plan which streets and suburbs we mow.
Where it comes from and goes
Block outlines and address details come from Vicmap, published by the State of Victoria. The site runs on Cloudflare, and what we keep is stored there. We don't sell your information.
When your booking page shows the forecast for your booked day, your browser asks Google's Weather service for the weather near your address (rounded to about a kilometre). Photos of the place come from Google Street View and satellite imagery. We don't keep Google's weather: it stays in your browser for under an hour.
Questions
If you'd like to know what we hold about an address, or want it removed, let us know when we're in touch and we'll take care of it.
