Service terms
Last updated 8 November 2026. These terms cover lawn mowing, garden care and pressure washing booked with Cuts4Cash. They sit alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and never take any of them away.
Who we are
Cuts4Cash is an owner-operated lawn mowing business in Melton, Victoria. The person who prices the job is the person who does it. Email hello@cuts4.cash, or reply to any text we send you.
Prices
- The price you see online is an estimate from your block size and your answers. It isn't a quote or an offer.
- Before any work starts we send you a fixed price (by text, with a link), and you approve it on your booking page. Nothing is done or charged without your approval. If the price changes, you approve it again.
- The minimum charge is $45 a visit. Fortnightly visits are 10% off our one-off price for the same lawn; visits every 4 weeks are at the one-off price.
- A lawn that has got away takes longer the first time, so the first visit may cost more. That is in the fixed price you approve. If the lawn on the day is clearly different from what you told us (much longer grass, or things in the way), we text you a new price and only go ahead if you say yes.
- Extras such as taking the clippings away, hedges, weed spraying, pressure washing, and photos or video are only done and charged when they're in the price you approved.
- Cuts4Cash isn't registered for GST, so no GST is charged.
Visits, changes and the weather
- Change or cancel a visit for free any time before we set out: reply to our text, or use your booking page.
- We don't mow in rain, storms or unsafe heat, and on Total Fire Ban days we don't cut dry grass. A visit the weather stops is moved, never charged.
- Please unlock the gate and keep dogs inside. If we can't get in, or it isn't safe, we text you and there's no charge, unless you agreed in writing beforehand to an attendance fee (for example on a council work order).
- We don't start mowers, trimmers or blowers before 7 am on weekdays or 9 am on weekends and public holidays, or run them after 8 pm, as EPA Victoria's residential noise rules require.
- For a rental with renters living there, we only come on a day the agent or landlord has arranged after giving the renters written notice, between 8 am and 6 pm and never on a public holiday.
- Green waste goes in your green bin when there's room, or we take it away if that's in your price.
Paying
- You get an invoice with a link after each visit. It's due within 7 days for households, 14 days for agents and builders, and 30 days for councils. How to pay is on the invoice.
- Gift cards last 3 years from the day they're bought, with no fees. Free welcome vouchers are one per address, with the expiry printed on them.
Plans (paying ahead)
- Pay ahead and save: the further ahead (up to a year), the more you save. Commit for a year and save a little more. Savings never go past 15% on top of the regular-visit price.
- Cancel any time with 30 days’ notice: one tap on your own page, or a text. Visits you’ve paid for that haven’t happened yet are refunded.
- Leaving a 1-year term early only means the term saving comes off the visits already done. No other exit fee.
- A month before your year ends, we tell you the price after it. Nothing renews at a higher price without notice.
- Visits that can’t happen because of the weather are moved, not lost.
If something isn't right
- Our 48-hour fix: if you're not happy with something we did on a visit, tell us within 48 hours of the visit (email or text, with a photo if you can) and we'll come back and fix it, free. We cover the whole cost of coming back.
- Damage: tell us as soon as you can, ideally within 48 hours, with a photo. If we caused it, we'll repair it or pay the reasonable cost.
- Questions or complaints: email hello@cuts4.cash or reply to our text. We reply as soon as we can, usually within one business day.
Your consumer guarantees. Our 48-hour fix is on top of your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, not instead of them.
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled:
- to cancel your service contract with us; and
- to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.
You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract.

Photos we take on a job belong to Cuts4Cash. We show them only to the customer who booked, and only the ones we choose to share; they are never public. Photos or video for social media go on our own pages only if you say it's OK. More in our privacy page.
